香港長洲島舉辦“太平清醮”系列民俗活動
Art and Culture | On 15 May, the eighth day of the fourth lunar month, the festive atmosphere of the Cheung Chau Da Jiu Festival, lasting for several days, reached its climax on Cheung Chau Island in Hong Kong. Every year, the residents of Cheung Chau Island in Hong Kong organize the festival to pray for peace. During the day, the highlight of the #event was the Piu Sik parade. Several strong men carrying large flags led the way and were accompanied by lion #dance performances, children dressed in various themed costumes, standing on 2-meter-high iron frames, escorted by the drum and gong teams and the guard of honor in the middle of the parade, waving and interacting with the public and tourists. Another exciting activity was the #Bun Scrambling Competition, which took place at midnight. Twelve players bravely climbed to the 14.42 meters high bun mountain frame, hanging 9,000 simulated buns, to compete for Ping On buns in the different areas of different values, and the highest score won. #artandculture
5月15日,農歷四月初八,持續數日的“太平清醮”系列民俗活動的節日氣氛在香港長洲島上推至高潮。香港長洲島的島民每年都會舉辦太平清醮活動,以祈佑長洲平安。白天,活動重頭戲“飄色會景巡游”舉辦,數名壯漢扛著碩大的標旗在前開道,舞麒麟、舞獅表演精彩紛呈,身穿各式主題服飾的小童,站在約2米高的鐵支架上“凌空飄起”,被鑼鼓隊、儀仗隊護送在巡游隊伍中間,頻頻與市民游客揮手互動。深夜舉辦的“搶包山”比賽,12名選手奮勇向14.42米高、懸掛9000個仿真包子的包山架攀爬,爭奪包山頂部不同區域不同分值的“平安包”,最高分者獲勝。
